Bridges are practical works of art. With this glimpse of Manhattan Bridge from a busy New York City street, Jayna B chose to isolate the beauty of the bridge’s architecture, minimizing the buildings surrounding it.

“Through color blends and texture,” she shared, “I sought to create a feeling of nostalgia along the edges of the artwork, representing the bridge’s past, that moves towards the center of the artwork, transitioning to stark colors and sharper clarity, to the bridge itself, depicting the present day.”
